David Husby, Director of Covenant World Relief
Dave was born and raised in Seattle, Washington. He graduated from Seattle Pacific in 1977 with a BA in psychology and from Regent College in 1995 with a Master of Divinity degree. In 1982 he married Ronna and shortly thereafter they began serving as Covenant missionaries in Japan. In 1989, Dave and Ronna became the directors of the Odawara Christian Center in Japan. After serving 16 years as missionaries in Japan, the Husbys were called to be Asia Regional Coordinators for the Department of World Mission in 1999. During this time Dave worked with partner organizations in community development in India, Bangladesh, Laos, Kyrgyzstan, Thailand and the Philippines. Since May 2009, Dave has been serving as Director of Covenant World Relief, a Serve Globally ministry of the Evangelical Covenant Church.

Catherine Werner, Manager of Covenant World Relief
Catherine Werner manages international community development and disaster relief partnerships for Covenant World Relief (CWR), a Serve Globally ministry of the Evangelical Covenant Church. Prior to working with CWR, Catherine served with Wheat Ridge Ministries (now, We Raise Foundation), an organization dedicated to ending poverty, violence, and inequality in major cities across the US. Catherine has also served as an intern pastor at Ceresco Covenant Church in Nebraska and is a graduate of North Park Theological Seminary. She and her husband, Matt, live in Chicago and are members of North Park Covenant Church where they actively participate in music ministry.
