Meet the staff

Ruth Y. Hill serves as Executive Minister of Women Ministries.  She was elected in June 1999.  Ruth originates from Bellingham, Washington, and graduated from Seattle Pacific University with post graduate studies at the University of Washington and North Park Theological Seminary.  She and her husband, Brad, served as Covenant missionaries to Congo for nineteen years.  Her immediate family includes two daughters, their husbands,two grandsons and two granddaughters.

Marcia Friedman serves as Administrative Assistant in the Department of Women Ministries, having relocated to Chicago  from Jamestown, New York, in January 2006 where she served for 12 years as the Administrative Assistant at Zion Covenant Church.  She has three grown children. She is married to Stan who is also employed by the ECC as the News Desk reporter.
