Youth Pastor Vision Trips

Vision trip where youth pastors learn about the culture, ministry, and social/spiritual issues of the area. Participants also learn about how and why Merge structures learn-and-serve trips the way we do, and how youth groups can partner with international churches to do community ministry together.

Please contact Alex Velasco at alex.velasco@covchurch.org for more information.

SEEDs Trips

SEEDs are pre-planned trips for individuals, couples, families, and small groups. This is a great way to get to know new people while working with them on the field.

Please contact Dale Lusk at dale.lusk@covchurch.org or 956-458-9568 for more information.

FUNDRAISING

Following the call to missions involves the whole community. Let others share in your joy and support your MERGE mission trip.

Ideas:

  • Have a MERGE Mission Sunday. Ask for your church for support.
  • Host bake sales, dinners, or work days where the proceeds benefit missions and you ask for sponsors.
  • Encourage potential supporters to buy Top of the Lake Coffee
Top of the Lake Coffee

Support: MERGE receives a generous portion of the proceeds from each package purchased.

Give Back: Your freshly roasted coffee is purchased from individual farmers or local cooperatives at better than the commodity index price for coffee, providing meaningful economic impact for their families and communities.

Build: Your group receives the difference to support mission experiences or other youth ministry projects.
