Covenant missionaries are sent and supported by the Evangelical Covenant Church (ECC) and serve in over twenty countries around the world. Missionaries sent by the ECC are committed to the goal of seeing “more disciples in more populations in a more caring and just world.”
Covenant missionaries work toward that end through ministry tasks as diverse as church planting, medical missions, animal husbandry, agriculture, community development, education, business as mission, micro-industry, sports, theological education, accounting, visual arts, and music. They are committed to doing and speaking the gospel in culturally appropriate ways in partnership with local churches and ministries. Through their faithful service, girls and boys, men and women are seeing, hearing and responding to the gospel of Jesus Christ and the kingdom of God is being advanced.
