Cameroon Village Savings and Loan

Cameroon Village Savings and Loan

In rural northwestern Cameroon, women are beginning to find empowerment and raise out of poverty because of prior CWR projects including the Cameroon Chicken Project. Now that the community has access to more revenue, women’s savings and loan groups are being formed to continue the empowerment. In these small groups, women will save money and provide micro-loans to one another.
