Southeast Asia New Livelihoods

Southeast Asia New Livelihoods

In rural Southeast Asia, this program assists newly re-settled and rural families to begin generating income from growing organic crops in a sustainable way. These families will grow mulberry leaves for tea and silk, soy beans, rice, and corn. Farmers are being organized into marketing co-ops that link with commercial markets and building on long traditions of mulberry and silk production.
