Back to School
Over the past ten years, the children’s service project has enabled children in North America to offer hope and opportunity to children in some of the world’s most destitute places. The lives of children in these areas are marked by poverty and as a consequence, they have little or no access to education. Without education, there is little hope for a brighter future.
The children in your church will be able to make a difference in the lives of Congolese refugee children and youth living in Kenya. These children had to flee their homes in Congo and are now trying to get a new start in Kenya. The Kenya Covenant Church is committed to helping these children and youth receive the education they need in order to succeed in this new environment. It is not easy, as these children have suffered the effects of war in their home country and now must adapt to life in a new country.
Through your participation in this children’s service project you will be helping these children by providing the funds they need to pay school fees, uniforms, books, etc. Your donations will also go to help pay the salary of English teacher, as English is the primary language in Kenya and a necessity for children to learn if they are to succeed in school. Over the years, children throughout the Covenant denomination have reflected Christ’s love to others and have made a significant life-altering difference through their giving and their prayers. Thank you for joining us in helping the Congolese children in Kenya.
