TURLOCK, CA (March 17, 2010) – A memorial service for Anice L. (Miller) Shepson, 94, was conducted March 13 at Covenant Village of Turlock.
The widow of Evangelical Covenant Church Pastor William Shepson, she died February 27.
Shepson was born December 26, 1915, in Bechtelsville, Pennsylvania. She graduated from the Nyack Bible Institute in 1937, having put herself through school during the Great Depression.
The couple married August 23, 1937. He initially was ordained in the Christian Missionary Alliance church, later transferring his ordination. The couple served Covenant churches in Washington, Montana, and California. He died in 1986.
Survivors include three sons, Durwin Shepson, William Shepson, and Richard Shepson; and two daughters, Joanne Nelson, and Marcia Perez.
