PRAIRIE VILLAGE, KS (October 20, 2010) – A memorial service was conducted Monday for Douglas Brown, 58, husband of Evangelical Covenant Church minister Dorothy “Dori” Brown. He died Saturday following a lengthy illness.
Brown was born December 29, 1951, and grew up in Iowa. He was an architect who specialized in building sports arenas.
The service was held at Hillcrest Covenant Church in Prairie Village, where Dori is the community outreach pastor.
In addition to his wife, survivors include two daughters, Erin Heide and Ali Mueller, and one son, Zach Brown.
