Memorial Service January 8 for Marilyn Lundgren

SALEM, OR (December 17, 2010) – A memorial service for Marilyn (Skytte) Lundgren, 83, the wife of retired Evangelical Covenant Church pastor Richard Lundgren, will be conducted at 4 p.m. January 8 at Emmanuel Bible Church in Salem. She died Saturday.

Lundgren was born October 9, 1927, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The Lundgrens were married March 19, 1949. Together, they served Covenant congregations in Ogilvie, Murdock, Warren, and Kensington, Minnesota; Poplar, Wisconsin; Elgin, Illinois; and Sacramento, California.

In addition to her husband, survivors include sons Tim Lundgren of Turner, Oregon; Tom Lundgren of Portland, Oregon; Mark Lundgren of Lake Nebagamon, Wisconsin; James Lundgren of Moscow, Idaho; Peter Lundgren of Kingston, New York and daughter Mary Rickson of Salem, Oregon.

Interment will be in Highland, Wisconsin. The date has not been announced.
