Private Service Planned for Margaret Zylstra Davidson

VANCOUVER, WA (March 21, 2011) – A private memorial service for Margaret Zylstra Davidson, 84, retired Evangelical Covenant Church missionary, will be conducted April 2 in Vancouver. She died March 15.

Davidson was born June 6, 1926, and was adopted at age 4. She attended the University of California, John Brown University, and Moody Bible Institute.

She married Arthur Z. Zylstra in 1945. They served in Quito, Ecuador, and Alaska, where the couple was instrumental in starting KICY radio. He died in 1964.

She married Wes Pettit of La Center, Washington, in 1981. He died in 1987. She then married Charlie Davidson of La Center in 1988. He died in 2007.

Survivors include two sons and two daughters from her first marriage.
