Funeral Service Conducted for Bonnie Gelaude

HIGHLAND, MI (July 12, 2011) – A funeral service was conducted Monday for Bonnie (Loop) Gelaude, 60, wife of Ronald C. Gelaude, pastor of Connexions Covenant Church in Dexter, Michigan.

The funeral was at the Highland Congregational Church, where both came to faith in Christ and sensed the call to ministry. She died Thursday.

Gelaude was born August 18, 1950, in Detroit. The couple was married June 8, 1974. He survives.

The family suggests memorials be directed to the church’s benevolence fund in Gelaude’s honor. Checks should be made out to the church and mailed to Connexions Covenant Church, 2822 Baker Road, Dexter, MI, 48130. Please note in the memo line that the money is designated for the Gelaude memorial fund.
