IRVINE, CA (June 23, 2012) – Delegates to the 127th Annual Meeting elected Dave Kersten to be the dean of North Park Theological Seminary and Mark Novak to replace him as executive minister of the Department of the Ordered Ministry during Friday’s business session.

Novak has served as superintendent of the North Pacific Conference since 1999. He previously served as youth pastor at Interbay Covenant Church in Seattle, Washington; associate pastor at Modesto Covenant Church in Modesto, California; senior pastor at McMinnville Covenant Church in McMinnville, Oregon; and as senior pastor at Redeemer Covenant Church in Orangevale, California, before accepting the call as conference superintendent.
