McGREGOR, MN (June 25, 2012) – Rising floodwaters forced Covenant Pines Bible Camp to cancel the Pathfinders camp session scheduled to run today through Wednesday.
Officials said the water has reached historic levels. The waterfront is closed with water levels about five feet above normal. The ball field is under water, and access to the Davis Lake cabins is blocked due to high water over the trails. Access to camp is limited with the roads covered with water in both directions.

The Army Corp of Engineers expects water levels to rise as much as an additional foot over the next day or two.
The septic systems are currently working, but higher water levels may compromise the system, officials said. Buses may be unable to bring kids into camp or pick them up to bring them home.
The camp still intends to host Trailblazer 1 camp, which begins Thursday for kids going into fourth grade.
