CAROL STREAM, IL (September 19, 2012) – Windsor Park, an Evangelical Covenant Church retirement community, was able to donate 300 chairs to a church just hours after a Covenant News Service story about their availability was posted online Tuesday.
Messiah Covenant Church in Detroit will receive the chairs. The retirement community made them available because it is purchasing new ones for its auditorium.
“It’s so nice to know that the chairs will benefit another Covenant church,” says Jim Steere, director of church relations and community outreach.
