CHICAGO, IL (September 20, 2012) – Sample materials for the annual Covenant
World Relief (CWR) emphasis have been mailed to local Evangelical Covenant churches.

Additional materials may be ordered online at no charge. A new “thank you” video can be watched here.

Many churches have traditionally offered a CWR emphasis around Thanksgiving, but
congregations can now focus on CWR at any time during the year. Churches that will
offer their CWR emphasis at a time other than around Thanksgiving are encouraged to contact CWR so updated materials can be provided.

Covenant World Relief is the humanitarian aid ministry of the Evangelical
Covenant Church with the mission to love, serve, and work together with poor, powerless and marginalized people. This year, CWR has sponsored 45 community
development programs and 22 disaster response projects.

For more information, contact CWR by telephone at 773-384-3000 or by email. They
also are on Facebook and Twitter.
