ST. PAUL, MN (December 16, 2010) – A memorial service for former Evangelical Covenant Church missionary Glen M. Enos, 84, was conducted today. A funeral service and burial will be conducted Saturday in his hometown of Vassar, Michigan.
Enos died December 8.
He served as an Evangelical Covenant Church missionary to Congo from 1954 and started the first secondary school for girls in the remote village where he served and oversaw several other schools.
He is survived by four daughters: Rebecca J. Enos, Beth Beckman, Marigrace Deters, and Ruth Angelyn Enos; one son, Mark Enos; former wife Marian Stewart Enos, and long-time companion, Ed Reed.
