CHICAGO, IL (April 3, 2013) – After Kathie Lee Gifford announced she was reading Sensible Shoes: A Story about the Spiritual Journey by Evangelical Covenant Church pastor Sharon Garlough Brown, sales of the book soared, and a story about the phenomenon was the most-read Covenant News Service article in March.

Gifford mentioned the book as her “favorite thing” of the week on an installment of her NBC show, Today: Kathie Lee & Hoda.
