CHICAGO, IL (April 18, 2013) – The Nyvall Lectures at North Park University this morning have been cancelled in the wake of massive flooding that forced closing of the campus today.
A live webcast of the lectures had been scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. (CDT).
The lectures feature Willie Jennings, associate professor of theology and black church studies at Duke Divinity School, who was to share a two-part presentation: “An Obedient and Loving Church: Toward an Ecclesiology that Matters.”
More information on rescheduling of the lectures will be published as additional information becomes available.
