Celebration of Life Service May 10 for Albert Josephson

SURREY, BC (May 2, 2013) – A Celebration of Life memorial service will be conducted Friday, May 10, for Albert Josephson, 88, who died Tuesday. The date and time of the service reflects a change – the original published notice called for the service to be conducted on Saturday.

The Friday service will begin at 3 p.m. at Green Timbers Covenant Church in Surrey, British Columbia. The service will be streamed live – click here to access the service on Friday.

Josephson died around 6 p.m. Tuesday at Laurel Place Hospice in Surrey, surrounded by family and friends. His passion, even the past 20 weeks in hospital and hospice care, was that people would experience God’s love and know Jesus personally.

Memorial gifts may be directed to the Evangelical Covenant Church of Canada to provide bursaries for young men and women preparing for church leadership.
