Gather16-About-imgCHICAGO, IL (February 29, 2016) – Registration opens Tuesday, March 1, for Gather 2016, which will be held June 23-25 at the Arizona Grand Resort in Phoenix.

Experience Phoenix will be held Thursday, June 23, and hosted by local churches. Participants will engage in service projects andexperience other mission opportunities. More information on the event will be posted mid-March.

The Annual Meeting will follow on Thursday and Friday. It is the largest legislative body of the ECC.

Speakers will be:

– Catherine Gilliard, president of the Ministerium

– Dave Kersten, dean of North Park Theological Seminary

– Jean Cheng Gorman, director of ministerial health for the Pacific Southwest Conference

– Tony Suárez, executive vice president of the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference

-Ann Vining, senior pastor of First Covenant Church in St. Paul, Minnesota

Hotel reservations are separate from the meeting registration. Rooms must be booked by May 27 to receive discounted rates.

Shuttles will be available from the airport to the hotel as a fundraiser for youth ministry.
