CHICAGO, IL (August 10, 2017) – The new CHIC 2018 website will go live at midnight tonight. Information packets were mailed to every church today.
The triennial youth event that attracts thousands of high school students from around the world will be held July 15-20, 2018, at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. It is the largest denomination-supported event.
“CHIC 2018 will be an opportunity for the entire Covenant to gather together to UNITE around the mission and heart of our Lord Jesus Christ,” said Tim Ciccone, the ECC’s director of youth ministry. “We hope that every Covenant church can send their youth to CHIC and are praying for an incredible movement of God.”
In addition to information about CHIC, the site includes numerous ideas for fundraising and an initiative that will enable people to contribute to a scholarship fund. Visitors also are encouraged to sign up for monthly emails as well as links to Instagram and Facebook, where all announcements about speakers and bands will appear before being added to the website.
“I am so pleased and thankful for the work that our ECC Communication’s team has put into our CHIC 2018 website,” Ciccone said. “Not only is the new site incredibly useful and effective, but it takes the creative side of preparing for CHIC to a whole new level.”
