TURLOCK, CA (March 22, 2018) — A memorial service for Lois (Englund) Hirsch, wife of retired Covenant minister Robert Hirsch, was held March 3 at Covenant Village of Turlock. She died February 27, 2018.
Lois, 86, was born March 12, 1931, in Waterloo, Iowa. She attended North Park Junior College, where she met her husband.
Lois and Robert were married June 14, 1952. She spent 40 years working in various schools doing child care.
The couple served the Evangelical Covenant Church in Negaunee, Michigan; Greenwood Covenant Church in Summerdale, Alabama; Chain O’Lakes Covenant Church in McHenry, Illinois; the Evangelical Covenant Church in Patterson, California; and Covenant Point Bible Camp in Iron River, Michigan.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Paul Hirsch; and three daughters, Sheryl Noren, Beth Walker, and Allyse Morgan; 14 grandchildren, and 25 great-grandchildren.
