Companion Takes First Place Honors

Chicago, IL (April 26, 2018) — The Covenant Companion won first place, Best in Class in Denominational Magazine, in the Associated Church Press (ACP) competition last week. A total of twelve top awards, including four first place honors, were added to the eight awards earned last month from the Evangelical Press Association.

The Companion has been involved with ACP, the oldest religious press association in North America, for more than 50 years. ACP represents a broad spectrum of Christian publishers and communicators, making this recognition especially significant.

“It is an honor to be recognized by our colleagues in this way,” said Cathy Norman Peterson, managing editor of the magazine. “A big thank you to the excellent writers across the Covenant that we have the privilege of working with.”
