GOLDEN VALLEY, MN (May 25, 2018) – Retired Covenant minister Maynard Anderson died Monday, May 21. He was 97.
He was born February 11, 1921, in Dawson, Minnesota.
He married Virginia Moxon in 1951.
Maynard served on the aircraft carrier USS Hancock during WWII.
He earned a bachelor’s degree from North Park College and graduated from North Park Theological Seminary. He served Gethsemane Covenant Church in Duluth, Minnesota; Bethlehem Covenant Church in Wheaton, Minnesota; and the Evangelical Covenant Church in Buffalo, Minnesota.
His wife, Virginia, preceded him in death.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 31, at Covenant Village of Golden Valley.
