Day 16 Gift Idea: Raise Up Women in Ministry

Donations to support women in ministry will assist in equipping women pastors to meet the challenges of seeking call and serving churches, through continuing education and the Thriving in Ministry Initiative.

CHICAGO, IL (December 16, 2018) – Throughout the Advent season, Covenant Newswire is highlighting daily gift selections from the CovenantCares giving guide. Through the free annual catalog, Covenanters can partner with brothers and sisters around the globe to give gift donations that will help serve communities and advance God’s work in many areas.

We know that God has called and gifted women to serve in all areas of the church.

Donations to support women in ministry will assist in equipping women pastors to meet the challenges of seeking call and serving churches, through continuing education and the Thriving in Ministry Initiative. This initiative focuses in part on forming and developing women in senior leadership positions, including church planting. Funds also will be used to help educate congregations about the full call of women in ministry.

To read more about the experiences of Covenant women in ministry, go to “It’s God’s Call.”

Your gift will help expand these opportunities for Covenant clergy. This and other missional gift-giving options are available now through CovenantCares Gifts for Mission. Please join us in advancing the mission.
