Surridge Inauguration Celebrated Throughout Week

CHICAGO, IL (February 9, 2019) – The inauguration of Mary Surridge as president of North Park University will be celebrated with a week of activities February 11-15.

On Monday, students, faculty, and staff, including Surridge, will run a 10K to raise $10,000 for scholarships.

Wednesday will include a special worship service, academic symposium, and the North Park women’s basketball game against Elmhurst college.

An arts showcase will be held Thursday night.

The inauguration ceremony will be at 2 p.m. on Friday in the campus gymnasium. Surridge was called to be school’s tenth president at the Covenant’s Annual Meeting in June 2018.
