Greetings Covenanters,
On behalf of the Executive Board and Nominating Committee of the Pacific Southwest Conference, we extend our heartfelt thanks for your response to our call for nominations for the next superintendent of our conference.
We just completed a two-day meeting at the Garden Church in Chatsworth, California. On Friday, we heard from 16 conference leaders, including all members of the conference staff, as they spoke into our process. Their reflections on the Superintendent Statement of Qualifications and the current and future direction of the conference were filled with insight and wisdom.
On Saturday we reviewed each of the 40 nominations submitted. The end result, after prayer and discernment, is a list of those who will be invited to interview with the committee in February.
We are grateful for your continuing prayer support as we rely upon the Holy Spirit to inform and guide our process.
