Rae Ann Foley, surviving spouse of retired Covenant pastor Rev. Ross Foley, died April 17, 2026, in Cambridge, Minnesota. She was 85.

Rae Ann was born April 24, 1940, to Howard and Grace Reddick in Junction City, Kansas. During her high school years, the family relocated to Deepwater, Missouri. She went on to attend Kansas City Bible College before enrolling at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, Illinois, where she met Ross Foley, who had come to study from Ontario. They married on July 1, 1962.

Rae Ann’s central vocation was loving and raising her two sons, John and James, as well as serving alongside Ross through nearly four decades of pastoral ministry. For thirty-three of those years, Ross served as lead pastor of Faith Covenant Church in Burnsville, Minnesota, where Rae Ann was a devoted partner in that work—a team defined, those who knew them say, by the desire to love and serve others in the name of Jesus.

While living in Pasadena, California, Rae Ann worked as a secretary for Jet Propulsion Laboratories, which played a key role in the space travel and lunar landing technology of the 1960s. Later, in Burnsville, she spent several years at the Granary Antique Store in Richfield, Minnesota—a job that suited her well-developed love of antique hunting and home decorating.

Rae Ann’s love language was gift-giving. Over the years, many friends and family received her handcrafted grapevine wreaths or a jar of her homemade raspberry jelly.

Rae Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Ross, and her son James. She is survived by her son John (Erin); her grandchildren, Gabrielle Castruita (Erik), Joshua Foley, and Faith Foley; great-granddaughter Andrea; and many other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life service was held May 8 at Faith Covenant Church in Burnsville, Minnesota.

Peace be to her memory.
