MINNEAPOLIS, MN (November 16, 2010) – The Northwest Conference of the Evangelical Covenant Church has added a Church Resource Bank on its website that enables churches to donate and receive items from other congregations.“Our vision for this page is that churches with items or resources such as curriculum, equipment, or other assets they no longer have need for would post them for those who might find the resources helpful,” says Bryan Malley, director of communications. Current listings include a fax machine and VBS material.
Churches also can post needs they have. A current posting is from a church looking for 150 lightly used hymnals.
Churches with something to share may email Cheryl Theilen, office administrator. Include a description of what is available, the donor church name, and contact information.
