Thursday Webcast Focuses on Church Mission Trips

CHICAGO, IL (September 25, 2012) – How to make the most out of local church mission trips will be the focus of a Covenant Communications webcast at 10 a.m. (CDT) Thursday.

Kim Crawford of the Department of World Mission of the Evangelical Covenant Church will serve as moderator. Joining her will be Karen Hallberg, director of mission mobilization and connection; Greg Mesimore, pastor of Edgebrook Covenant Church in Chicago; and Dale Lusk, executive director of Merge Ministries.

The panel will discuss how to discern where to go and what to do on a trip, how to make it connect with the church’s vision and unique giftedness, and plan a trip that will be beneficial for all.
