CHICAGO, IL (January 15, 2013) – Today is the early registration deadline for the Evangelical Covenant Church 2013 Midwinter Conference. The registration rate will increase from $415 to $460 for primary registrants starting tomorrow.
The conference will take place February 4-8 at the Town and Country Resort in San Diego, California. Room reservations must be made through the hotel, which has extended its special room rate deadline until Monday. After Monday, callers can request the special rate, but it will not be guaranteed.
Changes to this year’s conference include the addition of Worship Connect workshops. It is designed especially for attendees whose ministry involves the worship arts. Over three days, there will be opportunities to engage in roundtable discussions, record demos, and participate in a two-part workshop, Bible and Worship: Music, Art, and Culture. The workshop will explore the tactile and concrete aspects of worship as well as the multicultural challenge of Christian worship.
The Youthworker Connection will be part of the larger conference, there also will be special events and forums related specifically to children’s and youth ministry.
