DAVENPORT, IA – Twyla Jane Lundell, wife of retired Covenant minister James Lundell, died Saturday, August 7. She was 86.

Twyla was born on January 18, 1935, in Sioux City, Iowa, to Arthur and Esther Liljegren. She married James Lundell, whom she met in college, on August 18, 1956, in Sioux City.

They served First Covenant Church of Moline, Illinois, for 25 years.

Survivors include her husband, James; children Debbie Lundell, Nancy Young (Terry), Susan Caldwell; three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Services were held Friday, August 13. Memorials may be directed to First Covenant Church, 3303 41st St, Moline, IL 61265, or Youth Hope Moline at 3928 12th Avenue, Moline IL 61265-3405.
