Covenant Ministries of Benevolence announced that David Boggs has been named the new president of Covenant Initiatives for Care (CIC).
“I’ve had the privilege of seeing Dave’s heart and dedication up close over the past four years,” shared Todd Slechta, president and CEO of Covenant Ministries of Benevolence (CMB), which is the parent organization of CIC. “His expertise is invaluable, but it’s his steady compassion for those we serve that gives me such confidence in him as our next president.”
“Working on behalf of the residents, families, and staff of Covenant Ability Network over the past four years has, and continues to be, an honor and a privilege,” Boggs said. “I am excited for the future as we explore new opportunities to uplift and support vulnerable individuals and their families, providing services that enrich their lives both physically and spiritually.”
The transition also reflects the growing clarity and singular focus of CIC’s mission: to walk alongside and support adults with special needs.
“Dave’s dedication and care have prepared us well for what lies ahead,” said Phil New, chair of the CIC board of directors. “And this new role is a natural continuation of the ways he has already been serving the CIC family.”
His appointment comes with the unanimous affirmation of both the CIC and CMB governing boards, celebrating and supporting David as he steps into this role.
