Faithful lay leaders across Covenant churches show up every week to lead. They run ministries, chair boards, and mobilize volunteers—and the church is stronger when they are equipped to lead well. CSL exists to help form spiritually grounded, Covenant-aligned, skillfully prepared lay leaders to serve the church with clarity and confidence.

Angela brings a wealth of experience to this work. She transitioned from a career in graphic design and marketing to follow her passion of equipping leaders to build thriving, Christ-centered churches. An ordained Covenant minister, she brings experience that spans roles as associate and executive pastor, designer, musician, event coordinator, and speaker. She has served congregations ranging from 30 people to 24,000, including Bayside Church and Saddleback Church, and she served as executive director of ministry development for the Evangelical Covenant Church for five years.

Driven by a strategic mind and a deep love for the local church, Angela dedicates her work to resourcing leaders across ministries of all sizes. She is the author of five books, including The Volunteer Bridge, and continues to support Christian leaders through angelayee.com. Angela lives in Tustin, California, with her husband, Albert. They have two adult children.

“Angela is simply a pleasure to work with,” said Paul Robinson, executive minister of Serve Locally. “She’s smart, creative, talented, and fast! She loves Jesus and the church—and is the perfect choice to develop the long-term plan and foundation that will set CSL up for lasting impact.”
