CHICAGO, IL (September 24, 2014) — Shane Claiborne is the latest CHIC2015 main stage speaker to be announced.
Claiborne is a founder and board member of The Simple Way, a faith community in inner city Philadelphia that has helped birth and connect radical faith communities around the world. He is the author of multiple books, including The Irresistible Revolution, Jesus for President, and Common Prayer.
He has written in Esquire, SPIN, Christianity Today, and the Wall Street Journal, and he has appeared on media outlets ranging from Fox News and Al Jazeera to CNN and NPR. He has given academic lectures at Harvard, Princeton, Brown, Liberty, Duke, and Notre Dame.
CHIC2015 will be held July 12-17, 2015, at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.
