Serve Globally Executive Minister Deadline Approaching

CHICAGO, IL (January 9, 2015) — The deadline to make nominations for executive minister of Serve Globally is Sunday. Names may be submitted to servegloballysearch@covchurch.org. Self-nominations may be made as well.

The board hopes to have a nominee identified by early spring. The nominee will then be presented to the Covenant Annual Meeting for election. The position begins September 1, 2015.

Serve Globally is one of the five mission priorities of the Covenant, also including Start and Strengthen Churches; Make and Deepen Disciples; Love Mercy and Do Justice; and Develop Leaders.

The opening comes with the retirement this summer of Curt Peterson, who has served since 2003.
