CHICAGO, IL (November 22, 2016) — Due to technical difficulties with the Covenant website, the deadline for applications for the position of director of missionary personnel for the Serve Globally mission priority has been extended to November 30.

The position is similar to the one held by current co-directors Margie and Baxter Swenson, who are retiring after serving in the role for the past eight years. Altogether, the Swensons have served the Covenant for nearly 41 years.

The director of missionary personnel facilitates the engagement of Covenant missionaries throughout the globe. The position oversees the recruitment and screening, pastoral care and safety, and employment relations of missionaries.

Applicants should send a resume and cover letter to Rebecca Gonzalez at hr@covchurch.org.
