CHICAGO, IL (October 4, 2018) – Covenant World Relief is accepting donations to benefit survivors of the earthquake and tsunami that killed more than 1,400 people in Indonesia last week.

“We are working collaboratively with partners in the area who are responding to the crisis,” said Dave Husby, CWR director.

The 7.5 magnitude earthquake and resulting tsunami struck the country on September 28. More than 66,000 homes were destroyed or heavily damaged, according to government officials, who added that up to several hundred thousand people were left homeless.
