Kathleen Osgood, wife of Covenant minister Rev. Dan Osgood, passed away in Greenfield, New Hampshire, on July 4, 2022. She was 69.
She was born on March 3, 1953, in Burlington, Vermont, to Harold and Lillian (Ramsey) Allen. Kathy graduated from Burlington High School in 1971. The following year she met Dan Osgood. They married on February 2, 1973, and later moved to Thetford, Vermont, to begin raising a family.
As a family, the Osgoods moved to the town of Windsor and began dairy farming, and then eventually moved to Bangor, Maine, where Dan attended Bangor Theological Seminary. The family settled in Greenfield, New Hampshire, where she and Dan served together at Greenfield Covenant Church for 35 years. During that time, Kathy was a faithful, active, and integral part of church life, and was very devoted to her family.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and her son, Ryan Allen Osgood. She is survived by her husband, Dan; her daughter, Megan Elizabeth Osgood; and two grandchildren.
A memorial service was held at Oak Park in Greenfield, New Hampshire, on July 23. In lieu of flowers, condolences, remembrances, or memorial gifts may be sent to Greenfield Covenant Church, PO Box 341, Greenfield, NH 03047.
