Rosalee “Rosie” Bowers, wife of the late Rev. Donald Bowers, died January 3, 2026. She was 90.
Rosalee Spurling Bowers was born October 10, 1935.
She earned a BA in education from Azusa Pacific University in 1957. She was an elementary school teacher and director of Christian education.
Rosie married Donald Bowers on December 26, 1959. They had four children: Brent, Todd, Jodi, and Kari.
In over 30 years of ministry, the family served Covenant churches in the Pacific Southwest Conference, including Village Covenant Church in Azusa, California; Vineyard Covenant Church in Rancho Cucamonga, California; Diamond Bar Covenant Church in Diamond Bar, California; and Orange Covenant Church in Orange, California. For eighteen post-retirement years, they also served a Methodist church.
Rosie was preceded in death by her husband, Donald, in 2025.
