Covenant Seeks Director for Advancement Candidates

CHICAGO, IL (August 3, 2010) – The Evangelical Covenant Church (ECC) is establishing a new donor advancement office to better relate to, support, and engage individuals in their vision for financially investing in God’s work around the world through the Covenant.

As part of that process, a search for a founding executive director is under way.

“The generosity and sacrifice of individual Covenanters in support of our mission is exemplary,” says ECC President Gary Walter. “It will be increasingly important moving forward that we take advantage of all of the God-orchestrated opportunities in front of us. With the dramatic growth of those new to the Covenant, there are undoubtedly many more who would invest if they better knew all that we are doing.”

The Alford Group, which specializes in assisting non-profit organizations, is conducting the executive director search. Following is information from the Alford Group website, including a link to the Opportunity Guide for interested applicants with appropriate experience.
