CHICAGO, IL (August 12, 2010) – Offices of the Evangelical Covenant Church will be closed today as employees gather for an all-day retreat in preparation for the move of Covenant offices to a new location in four weeks.
Offices are scheduled to move over the weekend of September 10-12. On Monday, September 13, staff will begin their first day of work in the new facility at 8303 West Higgins Road in Chicago. The current office building at 5101 N. Francisco Avenue, now owned by Swedish Covenant Hospital, will be demolished this fall as part of the hospital’s campus development program.
In the event of an emergency requiring contact with someone at Covenant Offices today, individuals can call Janet Lungren with Covenant Ministries of Benevolence at 773-878-8200, extension 5008. She will alert the appropriate Covenant staff. In the event she is not immediately available to answer the call, please leave a voicemail, as she will be monitoring messages throughout the day.
