CHICAGO, IL (October 1, 2010) – Individuals interested in applying for the position as director of advancement for the Evangelical Covenant Church (ECC) have until October 30 to submit a cover letter and resume.

This position is responsible for building and leading the denomination’s office for donor advancement and all related aspects of individual-focused philanthropic programming on behalf of the ECC.

“A strong candidate will demonstrate a successful track record in building a development office and have personal experience in soliciting gifts from individuals, staff development, and planning and resource management,” states an overview prepared by Alford Group Executive Search, which is conducting the search process.

“A passion for the mission of the Evangelical Covenant Church is essential,” the overview continues. “The Opportunity Guide will provide additional information regarding this position and the opportunity at the ECC.”
