Medical Volunteers Needed for Haiti Mission Trip

PORTLAND, OR (January 13, 2011) – Medical Teams International is seeking medical professionals who also attend Evangelical Covenant churches to join them on a mission trip to Haiti April 28 to May 6.

Those interested in participating must contact the organization by February 26 to allow time for the disaster response screening process. Medical professionals needed are doctors comfortable serving as internists or generalists, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, and paramedics. Previous experience working or living in foreign countries is preferred.

Medical Teams is partnering with Covenant World Relief (CWR). A team of Covenant medical personnel currently is serving in Haiti and another team is scheduled to leave in February.
