MERCER ISLAND, WA (May 31, 2012) – A memorial service for Margaret (Anderson) Larson, 91, is tentatively planned for July 21 at Covenant Shores retirement community in Mercer Island.
Larson, the widow of former Evangelical Covenant Church minister Edward Larson, died Monday.
She was born March 8, 1921, in Flint, Michigan. She graduated from North Park College in 1941 and was married the same year. Her husband died in 1993.
Together they served the Evangelical Covenant Church in Lake Norden, South Dakota; Maplewood Covenant Church in Chicago, Illinois; Trinity Covenant Church in Minneapolis, Minnesota; First Covenant Church in Portland, Oregon; and Newport Covenant Church in Bellevue, Washington. He later served as superintendent of the Pacific Southwest and North Pacific conferences.
Survivors include two sons, Mark Larson of McMinnville, Oregon, and Ken Larson, of Wixom, Michigan.
