Retired Covenant minister Donald E. Logue passed away on November 1, 2024, in Grand Island, Florida. He was 90.

Donald Elston Logue was born to parents William and Helen Logue on July 21, 1924, in Orlando, Florida. Donald graduated from Asbury Theological Seminary in 1960 and transferred his ordination into the Covenant in 1979.

On August 29, 1954, Donald married Margaret Spring. Together they had four children.

Donald dedicated his life to ministry, serving many congregations in Florida including Faith Covenant Church in Saint Petersburg, Florida. After relocating to Grand Island in 2002 from Saint Petersburg, he continued to share his passion for serving others through interim pastorates in Oxford and Tavares, Florida. His lifetime of service and dedication to his family and faith will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.

Donald was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Margaret, and their son Donald. He is survived by his sons Richard and David; daughter, Diane Logue Treen; brother, James; and sister, Judith Sanders; nine grandchildren; and nineteen great-grandchildren.

A service was held at Harden/Pauli Funeral Home, Eustis, Florida, on November 15, 2024. Interment followed at Grand Island Cemetery, Grand Island.
