Retired Covenant pastor E. Neil Peterson passed away on December 2, 2023, in Batavia, Illinois. He was 95.

Neil was born on September 27, 1928. He and Rose Marie Peterson married on October 8, 1949. Together they served in pastoral ministry at a variety of Covenant churches, including stops in Pender, Nebraska; Alexandria, Minnesota; Walden, Colorado; Mason City, Iowa; Wakefield, Nebraska; and Lowry, Minnesota.

Neil was survived by his wife, Rose Marie, who subsequently passed away on November 23, 2024.
