Two North Park Students Receive Fulbright Awards

CHICAGO, IL (April 15, 2010) – North Park University student Laura Johnson, who attends Resurrection Covenant Church, is one of two women at the school recently honored with the prestigious Fulbright English Teaching Assistant Award.

Your church can participate in the Veritas workshop by contacting your DCV to schedule an event or by using the Veritas DVDs and workbook. We strongly recommend that a certified instructor come to your church Designed for both pastors and lay leaders, Veritas gives established churches a language to confront their current reality in a way that is honest, hopeful, and courageous. Veritas is a great way to get the conversation going in a manner that is civil, compassionate, and Christ honoring. Rooted in scripture and applicable to the times, Veritas is a powerful reminder that God is in the resurrection business and that he is pulling for you and your church to overcome.

The entire Veritas workshop is available on a two DVD set. With a running time of three hours and thirty minutes, the it is ideal for a weekend leadership retreat or Sunday school class. You can purchase the DVDs and workbook for $10 (plus shipping costs) from the Covenant Bookstore.
