CHICAGO, IL (July 21, 2010) – Telephones remain out of service at offices of the Evangelical Covenant Church due to a failure of outside transmission lines servicing the building.

Service was interrupted early this morning – AT&T crews have been working to resolve the problem since 9:20 a.m. The company is unable to estimate how long the system will be down while repairs are completed.

A special email account has been created for those needing immediate contact with staff at Covenant offices. Inquiries may be directed to ECC(at)covchurch.org – the building receptionist will monitor all requests and direct them to appropriate staff who can make contact through cell phones.

Additional information will be posted to this news website as it becomes available.
